Blogging 101: So You Want to Become a Blogger?

There are millions of bloggers out there, but it won’t hurt to have another – and that’s YOU.

Blogging 101 is for you and for everyone else who wonders how to start a blog, how to blog, or what exactly is a blog.  You will learn everything here, plus a great deal about other matters that you need to understand if you wish to monetize your blog. Yes, m-o-n-e-t-i-z-e!  That’s making $weet dollars from something you love to do!

Now, where do you start?  Start from asking yourself this question:  how are you unique from other bloggers on the internet?  What can you offer that is something unusual, or out of the box (or even out of this world!)?

Discover your Niche.  This is Step No. 1 in successful blogging:  finding where you are good at.

Do you cook the best spaghetti according to your kid?  Blog about it!  Do you teach piano or play drums?  You can blog about it, too!  You may be good in a lot of things, but to acquire a wider readership on the web, you have to offer something that is unique, or something that has not been written about – yet.

Of course, a lot of moms cook the best spaghetti according to their own children, but is there a spaghetti recipe you can share that has not been tried out yet by other moms?

You teach piano?  Cool, but what tip or trick can you blog about that has not been done by other piano teachers and drummers before you?

Discover your Niche.  Be unique.  These are the basic mantras of successful blogging.

Find out where you can contribute a lot, and then build your blog.  As one movie puts it “…just build it, they will come.”

With unique content that has so much to offer, your readers will, surely, beat the path to your website/blog.
